National Trust Volunteers are also knifty knitters.

High tea crated by the kniffty knitter volunteers of the National Trust

My second National Trust visit in a matter of a few weeks and to my surprise this little or should I say rather large high tea was on display at Mottisfont.

The gardens where beautiful, bloom about to happen and this if you like was the icing on the cake.

Knitted strawberry's, and hand stitched cream.
 Patch work tea pot.
 Battenberg slice.

The letter above was the only reference of the knit, sadly no names to google.  But still worth the look and blog title knifty knits as really there was a heap of effort and technique gone into this display;-)

Below, my favourite the knitted sandwich's.

Knitted fruit and biscuits and my second fave the Swiss roll, almost edible you have to agree?
